Nothing But Trouble (Tyndale House Publishers (May 1, 2009)) by Susan May Warren is one of those fun to read during summertime at the beach books. Of course, if you’re not planning a beach trip, I still recommend it.
PJ Sugar, the heroine, was run out of town on the night of her high school graduation, now years later she’s going home for her sister’s wedding and 2 weeks of babysitting her nephew. Can she sneak into town, unnoticed especially by her high school sweetheart?
Well, she’s not even in town for a full day before seeing an altercation between two men, one of whom ends of murdered hours later. So much for avoiding her high school sweetheart since he’s now a cop.
Throw in a handsome stranger, a preppy school for 4 year olds, Russian house guests, and PJ’s curiosity and you have a delightful book filled with laughs, suspense, and romance. Can’t wait to see
