A Quick Update

Author: Just wanted to let you know that I haven’t fallen off the planet but have been on an unplanned, mini-sabbatical. I shouldn’t be gone too much longer, and I’ll still be posting book reviews as they’re scheduled. Due to some personal circumstances, my brain is zapped of all things creative. I do covet your prayers through this dark time, and hopefully I’ll be back within the next week or two. 
In the meantime, Jendi left me a comment yesterday to check out the recent edition of Christian Fiction Online Magazine – my review of A Bride in the Bargain by Deeanne Gist was chosen as the feature review for June 2009! I’m grateful for that bright spot of news during a somewhat dark time.

Lord, I pray for Kara and her life right now. You know the circumstances of her situation and know the outcome that is your will. Please help Kara to remain steadfast in you and to continue to rely on your strength in her time of need. I ask these things in your precious name. Amen!
