Yesterday and today were the kind of days that I stay inside and hibernate – rain, rain, and more rain. If I absolutely have to go outside, my feet go in these…

My mud boots, however ugly they may be (I really want a cute pair like these), are the best investment I ever made. You see, our yard is still dirt with only a few patches of grass. Two days of rain on dirt = mud. Walking on mud makes shoes and paws yucky.

Unfortunately, I haven’t figured out how to keep the critter paws clean. I wonder if they make mud boots for dogs? I think ours need them…

Or maybe a whole body mud suit? Mandy, the beagle, is supposed to be white, brown, and black. Sadie is black and white. I think the white got lost today.

Spot, the GIANT horse puppy, is all white minus his black spots. Not anymore!!!

Isn’t that gross? The leg and paw belong to Honey, our cinnamon Chow/Collie.

Sadie had the right idea – washing. Her idea didn’t last long …

She was soon sleeping.

I’m so glad I can wear boots, even if they are ugly.
