What Books Would I Keep?

One thing we share in common is a love of books. I know there are participants of Faith ‘n Fiction Saturdays that read over 200 books a year!

But while we may read a lot of books, only a few books in our lifetimes are special enough that we would never part with them, always recommend them, and maybe even reread them.

So…what fiction books with faith elements are on your keeper shelf? Please keep your answers to no more than 5 books!

The 5 books (or series) that are on my keeper shelf are…

  1. Daughters of Fortune series by Judith Pella
  2. One Perfect Day by Lauraine Snelling – This is a recent read that is truly beautiful.
  3. The O’Malley series by Dee Henderson
  4. Courting Trouble & Deep in the Heart of Trouble by Deeanne Gist – Essie Spreckelmeyer cracks me up!
  5. Not My Will by Francena H. Arnold

Judith Pella and Lauraine Snelling are two more authors I’ve enjoyed. Not big on Deeanna Gist though.

Man I’m reading the “O’Malley” series all over the place today – I’ll HAVE to check that out.

    Nice list!

I have read book one in the Daughters of Fortune series, and I’m very anxious to finish the series! Deeanne Gist is another favorite of mine. :o )

Really enjoy Pella’s series’! Lauraine Snelling is definitely a favorite as well as Henderson. Absolutely don’t like Gist (sorry) and I haven’t read Arnold. Thanks for sharing your list

I liked “The Pearl” by Lauraine Snelling, but got it from the library.

The one I have on my shelf that I actually bought is “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers.
